Job Title: Creative Associate Location: Hickory, NC Position Type: CAD, 3D Modeling/Rendering, Design Overview The Creative Associate will be responsible for assisting the Product Development team in CAD, 3D Modeling/Rendering, trend and market research, creation of presentations and Product Design. You will be working simultaneously on multiple projects from concept to reality. Time management is a must. Qualifications The ideal Creative Associate candidate will be self-motivated, task driven with strong attention to detail. In addition, this candidate will possess the following attributes. • Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Furniture Design or Industrial Design or related field. • 2+ years design experience specifically within the furnishings industry. • Proficient in 2D and 3D design using AutoCAD, Rhino, and 3DS Max. • Strong/Advanced 3D visualization/rendering skills required. • Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects. • General understanding of design history as it relates to furniture. • Desire to work in a creative fast paced environment. • Must have a positive attitude and desire to continuously learn. • Strong concise communication skills, written, visual, and verbal. • Portfolio demonstrating applicable skill set is required upon resume submission. • Above all we desire a candidate which is passionate, talented, hardworking, and driven to excel.
